Reserve Strap & Apple
In recent WatchOS releases, Apple made the decision to remove all functionality from Apple Watch’s accessory port thereby blocking Reserve Strap’s ability to charge the Apple Watch. This was a deviation from how the port functioned in all previous WatchOS releases and appears to have been a deliberate effort to block development of third party smart bands. This action was surprising given that prior to this WatchOS update, Apple had been an advocate of our product–going as far as inviting us to Cupertino to show them early prototypes as well as placing pre-orders for many Reserve Straps. Additionally, Apple continues to run old versions of WatchOS on their in-store kiosks in order to utilize the functionality of the accessory port.
The Reserve Strap is the most indispensable Apple Watch accessory ever. It keeps your Watch charged on your wrist for days, adding more than 30 hours of battery life with typical usage.
The Reserve Strap band is crafted from a specialized Thermoset Elastomer silicone rubber and houses three Lithium Polymer cells which deliver charge to the Apple Watch accessory port using our proprietary overmolded connector design.
Reserve Strap recharges via Micro USB and initiates Apple Watch charging with one touch. It is completely water-resistant and also fully conforms to Apple's Official Band Design Guidelines.
"This could be the best Apple Watch accessory out there."
